Petros Marku was the son of Sadik Marku and Julia Martic.
Biography[]
Petros was the result of an affair between Mafia boss Sadik and a woman named Julia. This led Petros to become part of a dysfunctional family in which his stepmother Odeta Marku would often visit and play with him.
As Sadik's only child and heir, Petros was repeatedly exposed to his father's shady businesses. This displeased his mother but little could be done, as Sadik did not want to be told how to raise his own son.
To save her son from this unsavory lifestyle, Julia decided to run away with Petros one night while Sadik was out working. Julia began packing up. Petros soon came up to her and asked if they were going on an adventure and wanted to know if his father was going to join him. Julia said it was a surprise and urged him to put on his shoes.
Petros could not find his shoes, so Julia went to look in the usual spot. In her absence, Petros noticed a handgun among Julia's things and ended up shooting himself with it. Julia rushed back to the scene, horrified.
Julia decided to stage a kidnapping. She and Petros were removed from the family home by Arti on the orders of Odeta, who was helping Julia. When the FBI began investigating, Julia was found badly bruised because of Arti. She insisted that someone had stolen her child, leading the FBI to suspect one of Sadik's gang members or known enemies. However, Julia's story did not add up and Jack Malone questioned her, believing her son already to be dead.
Julia eventually confessed. Jack went to see Sadik and told him the truth, emphasizing on the fact that it was an accident. Sadik accepted, and began to mourn Petros' death.
